>Is there any real difference between these two words? If any, 「挙証責任」 will be a little more "technical" term. >It's time for some eggnog, with some extra rum - I'm going to watch a tv series called "Vikings". So far I'm enjoying it quite a bit. ⇒May your Christmas be a long & joyful day; I'm going to sing "Noche de Paz" etc. in Spanish, though I've got a tin ear!

>That means, the prosecutor has an obligation to prove each element of the alleged offense, and that the suspect does not have to provide a “defense” (a statement). The burden to prove guilt is entirely on the prosecutor. So think about that, when the police arrest a suspect, the suspect does not have to provide a statement (a defense), and can't be forced to provide one.

Christmas seems to have been a long day :o) Thanks for the correction again - as always, greatly appreciated. Everything looks good however if you don't mind I have one question. Is there any real difference between these two words? It's time for some eggnog, with some extra rum - I'm going to watch a tv series called "Vikings". So far I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
