xの値が増加するとyの値も増加するが、その関係は比例ではない。

1.Although increasing the value of x result in increasing the value of y, the relation is not in proportion.

2.The value of y increases as the one of x does, but their relationship isn't in proportion.

[訳例]
Although the value of Y increases with the value of X, there is no proportionality between them.
