I see, you wanted to say in Japanese "Are you a student or are you working?" like this?
We say it in Japanese, "anata ha gakusei desuka soretomo sigoto wo site imasuka?" or "anata ha gakusei desuka soretomo syakaijinn desuka?"
"Syakaijinn" means a person who has a work.
Anyway, I'll answer your question.^^
I am a part-timer.
I work for a company as a sales assistant tree times in a week.
