1. Don't you feel ashamed of having done a thing like that? または、 Aren't you ashamed of having done such a thing? Don't you feel ashamed that you have done such a thing? また、☆your son = your son's の注は不要です。 11. It goes without saying that what is the most important in the Olympics is not winning but taking part in them. without が with out となっていました。 2. = The mother was proud of her son's having won a gold medal. (won = got / gotten) = The mother was proud that her son had won a gold medal. 3. = He had no sooner arrived in Matsuyama than he called his uncle. = He had hardly arrived in Matsuyama when he called his uncle. called his uncle = gave his uncle a call = gave a call to his uncle

http://c.oshiete.goo.ne.jp/question/complete?cid=385&qid=7585592

1. Don't you feel ashamed of your son having done a thing like that? ☆your son = your son's ☆feel ashamed of = feel embarrassed about ☆a thing like that = such a thing 2. The mother was proud of her son having won a gold medal. be proud of = take pride in = pride oneself on 3. On arriving in Matsuyama, he called his uncle. ☆= As soon as he arrived in Matsuyama, he called his uncle. = No sooner had he arrived in Matsuyama than he called his uncle. = Hardly had he arrived in Matsuyama when he called his uncle. * arrive in = reach = get to 4.
