ディベートの準備をしているのですが、伝えたいことがうまく英語にできずに困っています。ぜひアドバイスをお願いします。制服は廃止すべきだと思います。それには3つ理由があります。一つ目に、個性が失われるということです。制服を生徒に強制的に着せることは、生徒の個性を妨害していることになります。現代の個性が主張される時代において、生徒に強制的に制服を着せることは間違っていると思います。 2つ目に、私服の方がその日の気候や体調に合わせて服を選ぶことができ、便利であるということです。制服があると、校則などで上着や防寒着を着てもいい時期が制限されており、不便です。その点、私服であれば自由に選ぶことができ、より快適に過ごすことができます。また、私服であれば、用途に合わせた服を着ることができ、活動しやすくなります。最後に同じ服を毎日着なくていいので清潔だということです。ほとんどの生徒が２着ほどしか替えを持っていないため、頻繁に洗えません。特に夏は沢山汗をかくので衛生的に悪いといえます。また中にはクリーニングが必要なものもあり、私服に比べて洗濯が大変です。以上のことから制服は廃止すべきだと思います。 We believe that uniforms should be abolished. We have 3 reasons for that.First, to have students wear school uniform forcibly is obstruction of their individual expression. Now that the identity is valued at the present day, it is wrong to have students wear school uniform forcibly. Second, plain clothes are more convenient in that we can choose clothes which suited to the weather or condition of the day. Students suffer inconvenience of not to be able to wear winter clothes and whatever and whenever they want to wear. In this respect, if school uniform is abolished, students can choose freely and spend their time more comfortable. Moreover, plain clothes has many uses and easy to active beside school uniform. Finally, it is clean because they don’t have to wear same cloth every day. Most of the students have no more than 2 spare clothes so that they can’t wash their clothes so often. Especially for summer, students are liable to sweat, so we can be said that it is bad hygiene. Moreover, some school uniform needs to be taken to the cleaners so it is bother to wash the school uniform. Certainly,English language is a most powerful communication tool,and is important today.However,as we know, the vast majority of Japanese have little to do with English.At least we dont necessarily meet foreign people flequently. To be sure,we cannot neglect English.You may get mail orders written in English,and may communicate with clients abroad,but it doesnt mean you'd better be able to speak English.Instead of trying to learn to speak English,it is more helpful for you to learn to read and write Chinese,Spanish,or Russian.
