B: Bridgit Mendler I: Interviewer I: So in "Wizards of Waverly Place," you know, you worked with Selena Gomez and you got to see a little bit of the "Bieber Fever" around. What was it like? B: It was great. That was actually before "Good Luck Charlie," and I continue to do it after, for a few episodes and stuff, but, umm, it was awesome. Everybody was so cool there, and I got to play ????. She was in a relationship with somebody that she genuinely cared about, so I think that it just kind of coincidentally wound up being, kind of, urr, a feverish thing around that. And umm, so, I mean I don't strive to have a relationship in the public eye. I mean, that happend without being on purpose, then you know that's what happens. But that sort of thing, I don't know, like I don't feel the need to be a part of that, but, I mean, she puts out great work. I: We've seen "Waverly Place" and sort of seen her beginning to transition into a more adult affair; "Spring Breakers" is coming out in the next week or two, you know her sort of R-rated movie, big R-rated bikini-clad, gun-toady movie. I mean you are twenty years old now. Are you sort of looking to begin making that transition into more, sort of, umm, sort of more R-rated, more adult affair? B: You know, I really, I respect her choice and I think she made one because she really believed in the movie. And I think for me, like I just wanna persue movies that I believe in. And I do think that there is a way to pick a movie that won't isolate an audience, you know. So, I am hoping that the movie that I wind up doing will be something that everyone can watch, but I mean, if I have to do some cool little Indian movie, or you know, or be an action super hero.
