Post war economic boomについての文です。
Many Americans feared that the end of World War II and the subsequent drop in military spending might bring back the hard times of the Great Depression. But instead, pent-up consumer demand fueled exceptionally strong economic growth in the post-war period. The automobile industry successfully converted back to producing cars, and new industries such as aviation and electronics grew by leaps and bounds.

前回に続いて、今回も非常にスリムな必要最小限の語句を用いた文章になっていると思います。ゆえに訂正や変更に類するものはなく、このままで十分だと思います。２つ３つ、より易しく、より頻用度が高いと思われる語に置き換えてみましたが、周辺的なことばかりですので、すべて無視なさっても構いません。

＞Many Americans feared that the end of World War II and the subsequent drop in military spending might bring back the hard times of the Great Depression.
⇒subsequent「続く、続いて起こる」は、followingでもいいと思います。
→Many Americans feared that the end of World War II and the following drop in military spending might bring back the hard times of the Great Depression.

＞But instead, consumer demand became exceptionally strong economic growth in the post-war period.
⇒exceptionally「例外的に」は、ごく簡単に、soまたはvery「非常に、極めて」に代えることができなくもありません。
→But instead, consumer demand became so/very strong economic growth in the post-war period.

＞The new industries such as automobile industry, aviation and electronics grew by leaps and bounds.
⇒by leaps and bounds「飛躍的に」は、fastやrapidly「急速に、素早く」に置き換えても大差ないと思います。
→The new industries such as automobile industry, aviation and electronics grew fast/rapidly.
