The Relationship Between Two Principles in the Given Sentence
このQ&Aのポイント
- The given sentence illustrates the principle that what we know influences what we see and gives meaning to the expression 'Seeing is believing.'
- There are three points of confusion in the given sentence: 1) the relationship between the two occurrences of the word 'principle,' 2) the role of the comma before 'a principle,' and 3) the reasons for using 'the' and 'a' before the first and second occurrences of 'principle,' respectively.
- It is unclear how the two principles in the sentence are related. The first occurrence of 'principle' is preceded by 'the,' while the second occurrence is preceded by 'a principle.' The comma before 'a principle' is also puzzling. Finally, the reasons for using 'the' and 'a' before the first and second occurrences of 'principle' remain unclear.

やはりtheとaの順序が逆のような感じがしますよね。 私もそれで悩みました。 かといって一つ目とふたつ目のprincipleが違うものとは思えないし。 回答有り難うございました。
