kの代わりにcを使ったら？

英語の疑問に英語で質問です。 英語の達者な方、お付き合い頂ければ幸いです。

If I write "My name is Momoco" , you'll read it quite smoothly. But it is considered to be inadequate.
Because the romaji doesn't allow the spelling "Momoco". We have to spell "Momoko". The spelling
"Momoco" isn't admissible at a custom, etc.
Then tell me the difference of impression on you between "c" and "k" ?
Foreigners such as us can hardly grasp the feeling.

アメリカ人でもローマ字は勉強しないと読めないですよ。
知らないとヒタチでもハイタッチになってしまいます。
ｋを使うのも日本のルールだからそれで良いのではないですか。
読み方を勉強しなければならないのは相手の方なのだから。
実際日本に興味ある人なら誰でも知っているので特に問題ないけど。

For me, spelling your name "Momoco", not "Momoko", is quite OK, unless you want to go strict to the spelling rule.
"Momoco" looks sweet, when you introduce yourself.
But of course I don't recommend you spelling this way on any official document, like passport.
Otherwise it's quite okay in casual occasion. Cheers!
