という問題で下記のAとBの大小関係を問う問題です。

になっていまして、解説は
Twenty percent of 50 is 10,and so there are 10 divers.Four times this number is 40.How many relay racers are there?Since each menber only participates in 1 event,and since there are 10 divers,there are 40 members who are either divers or individual swimmers.We know there must be at least 1 individual swimmer,or the team would not be composed of individual swimmers;that means there can at most be 39 relay racers.Thus,Coumn A is greater.
