仮定法で、wasではなくwereを選べるかという問題ですね。

Had he been there, he would have helped us.

仮定法のひっくり返った場合だということがわかるかですね。

I would like you to think what you did if you're in my place.
でしょうか？すみませんこれあまり自信ないです。
これだと何がしたい問題なのかわかりませんので。
