少々長い文ですが、英訳をお願いいたします！

昔、地球にオゾン層がなかった時代、太陽からの紫外線が地上に降り注がれ、生物は生存できませんでした。そして、オゾン層ができたことによって紫外線がカットされ、生命が誕生し、現在のような地球になったのです。そして今、地球を紫外線から守ってくれているオゾン層が人間の手によって破壊され、生命誕生以前の地球になろうとしています。

もしオゾン層が無くなってしまったら、紫外線が皮膚に直接降り注ぐことになります。それは白内障や皮膚がんの原因につながり、地球が生物の住めない場所となってしまうのです。

私たちは常に環境に配慮しなくてはなりません。今回話したオゾン層の破壊の原因であるフロンガスの排出を避けるのはもちろん、他の環境問題のことも考慮していかなければならないのです。今日の地球は沢山の環境問題を抱えて苦しんでいます。私たちの都である地球を守るためにも、あなたも小さなことからはじめてみませんか？

In distant past, when ozone layers did not exist on the earth, large amount of ultraviolet rays reached the surface of the earth directly and no creatures could live there. However, the emergence of ozone layers reduced the amount of ultraviolet rays, leading to the earth of today, where many kinds of creatures live. Now, the ozone layers, which protect the earth from ultraviolet rays, are being destroyed by humans and are going back to what it used to be before living things emerged.

If ozone layers were to be completely depleted, ultraviolet rays would reach our skin directly, which would cause cataract or skin cancer. The earth would become an inappropriate place for creatures to live in.

We always have to be thoughtful about our environment. Of course we should not only avoid emitting CFCs but also consider other environmental problems. Today the earth is suffering from many kinds of environmental problems. Why don't you start with small things around you to protect our planet Earth?
