質問

解答はあるのですが、自分の答案とは違うので添削していただけるとうれしいです。

１．20年ぶりに帰郷してみると、全てが変わってしまっているのがわかった。

When I returned home for the first time in 20 years, I found that everything had changed.

２．「いまお着きになったところですか。」「はい、午前中に着くはずだったのですが、飛行機が遅れました。」

"Have you just arrived?"
"Yes, I have. I was scheduled to arrive during this morning, but the airplane had been late."

３．私はこの7月でスペイン語を2年間学んでいることになりますが、さっぱり進歩したとは感じられません。

By this July I will have been studying Spanish for two years, but I don't feel it progress at all.

４．彼は日本に12年も住んでいるので、玄関で靴を脱ぐ習慣を珍しいとは思わない。

Because he has lived in Japan for 12 years,
he doesn't think the custom of taking off his shoes at the door is rare.

５．虹は自然における最も美しい光景の一つである。人間は長い間どうして虹が生じるのか不思議に思っていた。

A rainbow is one of the most beautiful scenes in nature.
People had wondered why it occurs for long.

６．私のいとこは高校を卒業して、今アメリカの大学で勉強しています。今年の10月で3年アメリカにいることになります。

After my cousin graduated from his high school,
my cousin is studying at an American university now.
By this October he will have been in America for 3 years.

問題の解答を求めるのはマナー違反ですが（課題とかではないです）、
教えていただける場所がここくらいしかないのでお願いします。

１．OKです

２．I have は間違いではないですが、会話では普通はそこまで言いません。Yesだけで十分です。　
during this morning → in the morining or this morning
the airplane had been late　→　the flight was delayed ”flight”を使うほうが自然

３．I don't feel it progress at all　→ I don't think I have made any progress at all.

４．taking off his shoes　→ taking off shoes 彼の習慣ではなく、一般的な習慣のことでしょうからhisは不要ですね。　珍しい、rare　→　nothing new, strange
He doesn't find *** somthing new any more. など

５．rainbow 自体は Scene では無いような気がしますが、
why it occurs for long → why it occured

６．２つめのmy cousin は　he にしましょう。he has been studying at an University in the States. アメリカにある大学と言う意味がはっきりする。

こういう質問の仕方は丸投げではないので問題ないと思いますよ。

が正解です。

私が少し勘違いしていたようで、もし混乱させていまったならすみません…。忘れてください。

日本語の「…だと思わない」を英語で「…でないと思う」と表現する方が一般的ですね。

その他は＃１さん，＃２さんの添削とおりで問題ないかと。

私も英作文の添削に苦労した覚えがあります。大変だと思いますが、これからも頑張ってください。

自分でいろいろ考えたんだし、いーんじゃない？

以下自信ないけどとりあえず目についたところ。
識者待ち

●I was scheduled to arrive 「during」 this morning,

に引っかかりを感じます。inとかwithinのほうが自然な気がする。

I studied English during my stay in London.
のように夏休みの間ずっと【継続して勉強していた】
という印象が強いので。でもこれはarriveするのは継続することじゃなくて一時に限定されますよね？(一番の文章のin 20 yearsと一緒)

●People had wondered why it occurs for long.
長い間「人々が考えていた」んだけれど、この文だと「rainbowがoccurしたのがfor long」と呼んでしまいそうな気がする。自分は過去形の方がすんなり来るかな。

People wondered for long why it occurs.とか
People long wondered why it occurs.の方が自分には自然な気がするけど。

●but I don't feel it progress at all.
勉強が進まなかった、ならこれでいいかもしれないけど
自分には「『私が』進歩しなかった」という文意の日本語に見えるので

but I don't feel my Spanish get better at all.

のほうが自分にはしっくりくる。
