He is just a good friend as far as I am concerned.
Because he showed a liking in me, I was just curious as to what it would be like if he and I were to date together. Then because you started talking about your ex-girlfriend, I for my part simply expressed what was on my mind at the time.
I don't have a crush on him, nor am I attracted to him at this point, and I have no intention to go out with him.

He is just a friend who likes me, and as I was wondering what it's like to be his friend you started talking about your ex-girlfriend.

So all I did was to say what came to my mind. I don't love him, or anything like that. I am not that far in the relationship yet. I have no plans to go further.
