⇒It is no use to ask a favor of him.
It is no use asking a favor of him.としてもよい。
＞③The master ordered the servant to clean the window.（thatを用いて）
⇒The master ordered that the servant should clean the window.
The master ordered that the servant clean the window.とすることもある。
（この場合のcleanは、cleansとはしない。）
＞④I awoke to find my suitcase gone.（重文にせよ）
⇒I awoke and I found my suitcase gone.
＞⑤The water in the pool was too cold for me to bathe in.（so~that...の形を用いて
⇒The water in the pool was so cold that I could not bathe in.
