She sleeps late, so I can't go into the kitchen to make breakfast because I might wake her, and we're forced to hide our snacks so she won't eat them. Bad as it is, the worst part is that my fiancé is bringing in zero income. His credit has gone down the tubes, he's about to lose his car—everything.

　これで（彼女が）ひどく悪い（＝碌でもない）ことはお分かりだろうが、それだけじゃない（まだもっとひどいことには）

やや古い英語で、
Thought it is bad,
の意味を Bad as it is は表します。

（十分悪いんだけど、）一番悪いのは～。

go down the tubues は「管を下るように流れ落ちる」
から「破産する、倒産する」

だから、credit は「信用」というより、「預金」でしょう。

彼の銀行預金は底をついた。
