Just what it is, HH Scott Integrated Amp. I'm not a shop tech guy who can give you detailed diagnostics, but I'll tell you what I can. Yes, it works. No, it has no cover. I got this a good couple of decades ago at a sale and used it occasionally just to check it out. Always worked well, and still does. Before I listed this, I plugged in a tuner and listened off the headphone jack. I can't find any issues, the balance, tone controls all in fine working order, the only thing that needed a little wiggling was the headphone jack to get both sides of the stereo. I've had this stored indoors away from any bad elements this whole time. A few cosmetic imperfections if you look really close, but no big gashes to bum out your visual experience.

Buyers choice on packaging preferences. I would think it's wisest to pull the all the tubes that aren't shielded and pack those separately in a box, but send it all together. I pack things well, so don't worry about that.
