2 は探している最中なので進行形で seem to be looking for an apartment としてはどうでしょう。

1. it seems to me he knows nothing about it. 2. Mr. and Mrs. Yamada seem to find the apartment to live. 3. They seemed to be late for train on 3. 4. Her mother seemes to be good at cooking. 5. His father seems to be watching the Beatles' video.
