新しい仕事は悪くないわ。でもなかなかお金にならないの。さしあたって職がないよりはマシね。代わりに主人が労働時間を増やして（残業して）くれているので私の労働時間が増えるまで家計が苦しいということはないわ。 調べたところ、bring in the moneyが「お金を稼ぐ」、pick up the hours at workは「労働時間を増やす」という意味のようですよ。
