正しい英文にするのはどうしたらいいですか

１After five years interval we met again at our teacher.
　→×After an interval of five years we met again at our teacher.

2My mother's this hat fits me very well.
→×This my mother's hat fits me very well.

→の文は自分でやってみましたがそれも間違っていました。
どう正しくすればいいのでしょうか

タイプミス？という気もするのですが、本当にatがあったのなら、
そこが変。～に会うは、素直に、meet～なので、atを消します。

＞2My mother's this hat fits me very well.
＞→×This my mother's hat fits me very well.

これは、this や my mother's を続けて使うのはダメというルールの話
(a(n),the、this,thatなどの指示形容詞、所有格などは、どれか一つしか使えません)

なので、a friend of mine (a friend of my friends 私の複数の友達の中の１人、と見ます、ofは単なる「の」ではなく、最上級で使うときのような「～ので/の」)の要領で、

this hat of my mother's (上の例が、myでなく、mineなのと同じで、
my mother's は「母の」でなく「母のもの」、my mother's hats を意味し、
母の持っている複数の帽子の中の、この帽子、という感じです)

すいません、三度目の訂正です。 自分的に解いた後、【at 】がおかしいなと感じてネイティブの人聞いたら、【at 】は場所に使うとのことです。（２人の大卒米国人からの回答）

＞１After five years interval we met again at our teacher.
　→×After an interval of five years we met again at our teacher.

After five years we met our teacher. とWe were reunited with our teacher five years later.との回答が帰って来ました。　使い方にTPOがあるようです、参考まで。

atは不要。またmeet someone againのように、meetの目的語はagainの前に持ってくるのが普通。

→My mother's hat fits me very well.

thisが余計なだけ。
