They will arrive in Haneda Airport at 6:00 p.m. today with lots of memories as their souvenirs. I will see Michael and my son for the first time in five days. I wonder if they have grown up a little. It is very important to be punctual in Japan. It is very significant to learn do's and don't's to live in a group. My son has never been absent from school nor late for school since he entered elementary school. Though you may think it is a trifle, Japanese people think it very important to be punctual. Whether a person is credible or not is sometimes determined by his punctuality. Michael seems to think Japanese students have a lot of classes and have to study very hard, but it is a matter of course for students who are trying to pass the entrance exam of prestigious universities. We would like Michael to know as many aspects of Japan as possible for the rest of his stay. I am now arranging my work schedule so that I can show him around some famous places in Tokyo on Sunday next week. An over-night trip to Mt. Takao, which is about an hour drive from school, will also become the first experience in the spa for Michael. I hope he will enjoy the beautiful scenery in Japan. I will tell Micheal to e-mail you when he comes back.
