以下の英文の構造が分かりません。
どなたかよろしくお願いします。

No one could concieve that these harf-witted brutes were born human,these creatures with no interest in what was going on around them, rocking themselves rhythmically back and forth like some wild animals in a zoo, and who withstood freezing weather in rags and plucked potatoes out of boiling water without discomfort.

今のところ自分の解釈以下です。

まあ、こんな英文を30年近く読んできていますので、細かい単語は抜きにして構造自体は日本語を読むより早くわかりました。

No one could conceive that these half-witted brutes were born human
「誰も、この低能な獣どもが人間として生まれてきたなどと思いつかないだろう」
と言っておいて、
these half-witted brutes の言い換えとして、
すなわち、
these creatures with no interest in what was going on around them, rocking themselves rhythmically back and forth like some wild animals in a zoo
「身の回りに起こっていることにまったく興味なく、動物園の野生動物のようにリズミカルに前後に揺さぶっているこの生き物ども」

同格でいいですが、these half-witted brutes という名詞の同格です。
rocking ～は名詞にかかるとしても同じですが、分詞構文として、「～しながら」というのが正確だと思います。
ただ、言い換えた these creatures の方にかかっています。

そして、(and) who 以下はやはり、言い換えた these creatures の方にかかっています。
