大学入試に英語は必要だ。なぜなら、模試英語が入試科目から外れたら学生は英語を学ぶ動機をなくしてしまうからだ。会話力や聞き取る力のような実践的な英
語を身につけるために、入試から英語をなくすのではなく、授業方式や試験方式を変えていくべきだ。大学入試センター試験にリスニングを加えるべきだ。現在学生はほとんど訳読と単語・熟語の丸暗記で英語を勉強している。それはセンター試験にリスニングがなく、英語を聞き取れるようになる必要性がないからだ。リスニング試験は、もう１０年以上前から私立大学を中心に取り入れられているが、高校ではリスニング対策の授業は実施されていない。しかし、もし大学入試センター試験にリスニングが付け加えられるなら、学校もその必要性を感じ取り、リスニング対策の授業をつくるだろう。そうすれば、今まで暗記さえすればよいと思っていた学生達の意識も改革される。聞き取りの力を手に入れることは、実践的な英語を身につけるための第一歩だ。世界中の多くの人が英語をコミュニケーションの手段としてみにつけている今、
英語を聞き取れるようになることは、単語や熟語をひたすら暗記するよりも意味深く、大切なことだといえる。
English is necessarry for university entrance exams, because if it is dropped from entrance exams, students will lose motivation to study English. In order to acqure practical English like speaking and listening ability, an examination and lesson system should be changed.Listening should be add to government-sponsored entrance examination for public and private universities. At present, students study English mostly though translation and rote memorization.

自分なりに訳してみました。

English is necessary for entrance examinations of the university. Because every student will loose his motivation of learning English, if the English test is dropped from the subjects of the entrance examinations. Not abandoning the English test form entrance examinations but modifying the way of lesson and/or testing should be necessary, in order to improve the practical English communication and dictation ability of the students: A listening test should be added to the preliminary examinations of the National Center for University Entrance Examinations.
At present, almost all the students have been studying English by translating and memorizing work of words and idioms. It is because there is not a listening test for the preliminary examinations and the students are not required the ability of English dictation. A listening test has been carried out round on the private school for ten years, however, no measures of the lesson for listening have been taken at the high schools. However, if the English subject is added for preliminary examinations, the lessons for listening will be provided at the high schools out of necessity. Then the thinking of the students, those the good preparation for entrance examination is memorizing, may be changed. Obtaining the listening ability is the first step for improvement of the English skill. It can be said that the improvement of the listening ability is much important and significant than to do noting but learning the words and idioms by heart, now days when the all of the people in the world have got the skill of English.

English is required for a university entrance examination. It is because a student will abolish the motive to study English if English for trial examinations separates from an entrance examination subject. Since practical English like speaking ability or the power to catch is attached to the body, English should not be lost from an entrance examination but a lesson system and an examination system should be changed. You should add listening to government-sponsored entrance examination for public and private universities. The student is almost studying English by circle memorization of reading of a translation, and a word and an idiom now. It is because it does not have listening in a center examination and there is no necessity that English can be caught now. Although the listening examination is already taken in centering on the private university from ten years or more before, the lesson of the measure against listening is not carried out at a high school. However, supposing listening is added to government-sponsored entrance examination for public and private universities, a school will also take in the necessity and will build the lesson of the measure against listening. Then, the consciousness of the students who thought that what is necessary was just to carry out even memorization until now is also reformed. It is the first step for attaching practical English to the body to get the power of listening comprehension. It can be said that it is are meaningful and important that English can be caught now now when many people in the world attach English for seeing as a means of communication rather than memorizing a word and an idiom intently.

It essential that a university entrance English exam is. When if it is in the absence of English exam, some students will not have little opportunity to study English. Therefore, school and examination strategy should be changed another method as opposed to put a stop English exam. The University entrance exam shall add an aural comprehension test. Because at the present time, the student learns off a word, an idiom and a translation by heart. There is no necessity to listening comprehension (in Japan). The private university has installed established aural comprehension test for ten years, however the high school is unenforced listening class.
But if an English of university entrance exam become operative an aural comprehension test, the high school might needs an English listening conduct classes and prep for examinations. By doing this, the student will feel so no good only lean off and will change their mind. The student will be able to do heard English will have make a progress practical English as a first step. Many people is currently educating English in the world, it can be hearing is useful and very important that rather than learn off way through a word and an idiom.
