質問

If V(ベクトル） is places at the (1) point of U（ベクトル）,then U+V is represented by the directed line segment from the (b) point of U to the (3) point of V.

英語の線形代数の本からの抜粋された問題です。

原点からある点までの矢印 U があり、かつその先端からVがのびてて、
原点からVの先端までの直線をU+Vという。というものです。

上の文の(1)-(3)にあてはまるのはどれだと思いますか？

予想では、(1)-(a),(2)-(c),(3)-(e)　だと思ってます。

図のようであれば、

If V　is places at the terminal point of U, then U+V is represented by the directed line segment from the inital point of U to the projected point of V

となるはずです。
