The world is changing quickly thanks to the digital technology available to us. We all understand the importance of an RSVP, attendance at a celebration and a gift to the host on a mailed-out invitation. What do you think about Facebook invitations to wedding receptions, graduation parties, etc.? Most are sent out to masses of friends on the person's friends list.

　 RSVP「ご返事ください」の重要性、
　mailed-out　「郵便で出す」招待状。いずれも従来の正式な方法です。

２。masses of friends
　（殆どが、その人のフレンド表に基づいて送り出される）無数のフレンド。今の方法です。
とmasses of friendsの意味を教えてください。

　ですから、デジタル技術の時代になって、従来、正式だと考えられていた方法から、多数同時メールの時代に急速に移った、ということでしょう。
