質問

添削をお願いします.
なるべく、簡単な英語で”使える表現”を習いたいです。

残業については、経理が一発で合えば、定時に帰れるし、合わなければ合うまで帰る事ができません。
As for overtime work, I can go home at a fixed time if the accounting is correct, but I can't leave work all the numbers add up.

特に月末は、月末締めの書類の処理があるため、遅くまで残業します。
Especially at the end of the month., we have to do a lot of documents for the balance date, so we stay late in the office.
または
We work overtime to process many kind of monthly balance sheets Especially at the end of the month.

繁忙期の月末は、たいてい夜中の12時頃まで働きます。
We usually work until around midnight during month-end busy times.

この文章では、あなたの会社の残業と言う事だと思うので、As for our overtime work として、ourを入れることが出来ますね.　そうすると、 Iがweに変って、we can (get to) go home at our normal/regular quiting time if the accounting is balanced early, but we have to stay and balance the book if not done so.と言う言い方をして、
get to go homeで、「家に帰る事ができる」
at our regular/normal quiting timeで、普段帰る時間に,
have to stayで「居残らなくてはならない」、
balance the booksで、「帳簿をあわせる」
if not done soで、if the accounting is not balanced の略で、「そうでなければ」
と言う表現が出来ますね.

Especially at the end of the monthと一つの文章にしてしまい、特に、が強調されますので、いいと思いますよ.

until around midnightをuntil midnightと変えることが出来ますね.　midnightは真夜中であって、１２時ではないので、around/aboutだと、真夜中を拡張した、１０時ごろも含んでしまいます.　until around/about 12 O'clock midnightとして、真夜中の１２時ごろまで、として、midnightが示す時間帯より、狭める事が出来ます.　１２O'clock midnightとしたのは、単に、夜中の１２時、としただけです.　文脈から分かると思いますので、省略してもいいですね.

私としては、この残業事情（特に毎月）はアメリカでは、理解できにくい事だと思いますので、特に最後の文章は、アメリカとは事情が違うんだ、と言う事を出すために、We unually have to work とhave to をたしたい気持ちです.

ただ、２番目と3番目の文章の内容が重複していますので、くっつけてしまい、Especially at the end of the month, we have to do a lot of paperwork with many kinds of balance sheets and it is not rare for us to stay and work until midnight during busy months.として、「真夜中まで仕事をすることが殆んどです」と表現しました.

これでいいでしょうか。　分からない点がありましたら、補足質問してください。

「quitting time 退社時間」という言い方も That's news to me!!
accounting is balanced この言い方もいただき！
balance the booksの「帳尻を合わせる、帳簿を締め切る、決算する」も思いつきませんでした。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・
if not done so　これもすごく、言いやすいです！

意味が通じているけど、
"at a fixed time"--> "on time"
"leave work all" --> "leave work until all"
のほうが自然だと思います。

「Especially at the end of the month, we have to do a lot of documents for the balance date, so we stay late in the office.」
別に問題が見えません。強調は日本語と似ている。

「We work overtime to process many kind of monthly balance sheets Especially at the end of the month.」
強調は「残業します。
"many kind" --> "many kinds"は正しいでしょう。
厳しく言うと、「Especially at the end of the month」は文法的に
文章じゃないが、話す時によくこういう文章を使います。

繁忙期の月末は、たいてい夜中の12時頃まで働きます。
We usually work until around midnight during month-end busy times

「during month-end busy times」は英語母国語の方が分かるかも
知れませんけど、ちょっと直訳っぽい気がします。
"during busy times at the end of the month"
"at the end of the month when we're busy"
などは如何でしょうか？
