質問

麺のコシを英語で表現するにはどう言ったらいいのでしょうか。
例えば、「美味しいラーメンの条件には、麺のコシは欠かせない。」はどう言えばいいのでしょう。

tough には、強くて弾力性のある、強靭な、丈夫な; なかなか(かみ)切れない、硬い(肉など); 粘着力[性]の強い という意味が有ります。

ここで敢えて再度質問させて頂きたいのですが「chewing texture 」を逆に日本語に直すとどうなるのでしょう。
texture 単独で歯ごたえ、かみ具合という意味があると思うんですが、chewing texture とすることでどういった意味になるのでしょう。敢えて質問させて下さい。宜しくお願い致します。

食の場合、texture は、食感全てを含みますので、「噛み応え」に特に限定したい場合に使えるのではないでしょうか？

　蕎麦の「喉越し」(噛まない)や舌触りなどなど、色々あるし...

　「馬から落馬する」ような感も無きにしも非ずですので、その辺は適当にご自身で...
