STOPエラーの解決方法

質問

DELL　inspiron 6400
OS：XPで使用しています。最近内蔵のDVDRWが故障をして修理とOSの再インストールをしました。その後，ソフトをインストールし問題なく使用できていたのですが，先日新しくジャストスイート２００８とアドビのフォトショップエレメンツ６とAdobe Premiere Elements 4.0をインストールしました。ウィンドウズアップデイトも2日前に行いました。
　しかし，今日DVDーRにDATAを焼き，その後，互換処理をしてDVDが出てきた瞬間にSTOPエラーが出てしまいました。昨日もSTOPエラーが出たのですが，そのときはピカソ２を使い写真を検索している最中でした。
今日のメッセージは次のようなメッセージでした。
どういう意味なのか。どうしたら改善できるのか教えてください。

デバイスドライバのエラーですね。
DVD関係のソフトは何か入れていないですか？
入れていたら削除してみて下さい。

補足

DVD関係のソフトはソニックのメディアセンターエディション７が標準で入っていました。そこに今回Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0をインストールしたのですが・・・。これが原因でしょうか？
Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0を使用したいのですが・・・。
