先生にメールで謝罪文を書きたいのですがなんと書けば良いでしょうか...

「プレゼンテーションするはずだった動画の件で相談があります。冬休みに撮影した動画が再生出来ずデータが消えてしまい提出出来ない状況になってしまいました。メンバーもこのことは知っており、復元を試みているものの出来そうにありません。私の不注意でこのようなことが起きてしまいメンバーにも本当に申し訳なく思っています。どうすればいいでしょうか。また動画の提出期限も今週の日曜日まで伸ばしてもらえないでしょうか、ご検討いただきますようお願いいたします。」

" I'm sorry for bothering you with such a thing, but I have one thing to ask you about the video which are supposed to be demonstrated to you soon. I accidentally erased the data of the video which was shot during the winter vacation, and we can't submit it as expected. Members of the team know about the accident, and have been trying to recover it, but it doesn't seem to be successful. I really feel sorry to other members for this happened due to my carelessness. I don't know how I can do to this at this moment. I would like to ask you if you could extend the due date for the submission until this coming Sunday. I apology for this inconvenience happened, but your generous treatment on this matter would be highly appreciated."

最初の”相談”は、お願いに置き換えていますが、やはり”相談”の方が良ければ、
but I have one thing to ask your advice.
今週の日曜日は、this Sundayと言ってもこの場合誤解は無いと思いますが、英語の場合、this Sundayだと既に過ぎた日曜日か、次の日曜日かが不明確なので、this comingを使うのが間違いが無いです。

I would like to talk to you about the presentation I was expected to make on the video.

The video I took during the winter break cannot be recovered, and I am not able to turn it in because it has been lost.

My members are aware of this situation and tried to reproduce it but in vain. Due to my carelessness I am sorry to have brought troubles to my teammates too.

What should I do? Could you shift the video deadline to next Sunday? I wouild appreciate it if this is possible.

すいません、補足で「今週全て撮影し直すので日曜日まで提出期限を伸ばしてもらえませんか」という文章に書き直したい場合はどうすれば良いでしょうか
