Though it is an illegal act to work with a short-term stay visa (commonly referred to as a tourist visa), job hunting is not an illegal act. Once you are accepted by a company, the company will make an arrangement that is necessary to acquire the status of residence for you. Therefore, you won't have to worry about it.

Those who stay for a short period of time with a tourist visa can legally look for jobs. However, it is illegal for them to work. Upon hiring them, their employers will go through the procedure to get a working visa for them so that there will be no legal issues.
