２月の取引量が１月のそれを上回るのは例年のことであるが、層としての中間価格とともに生の中間価格も回復しているのは好ましい兆候である。

大手保険会社が、カンタベリー地区 （場合によってはその外側の地域でも） における新たな保険期間に関する情報がもっと得られるまでは新契約を見合わせるという姿勢を見せている現状にあっては、カンタベリー地区における住宅市場は当面停滞するものと思われる。

* stratified median prices や raw medians を、専門的な用語でどういうのかまでは分りませんので、そのまま訳しました。median price は、すべての物件の価格を並べて、その中間に位置する物件の価格のことであるということは分るのですが・・・
