質問

オーストラリアの友達の所に夏休み行こうと思っているのですが、どのホテルに泊まるのがいいか、と聞いて返ってきたメールです。

Click on Melbourne and have a look around. Then ask for my opinion.
ここまではわかるんですが、ここから下はさっぱりわかりません。だいたいこんなことを言っている、っていうことがわかればいいのですがそれすらもわからなくって…。

回答にあったように、ホテルの紹介サイトのコピペですね？
ひとつひとつここで訳すのもどうかと思うので。
Wot's Hot?の次の行からは、延々とホテル名と価格と簡単な説明が入っています。なので、価格（AU＄）の前に書かれているホテル名をコピーして、それを検索エンジンで検索してみてください。検索結果の中に、日本語が混じっているものがあります。それはたいてい、日本にいながら海外のホテルを探すサイトです。ホテルの写真や日本語での紹介が入っているので、判断材料になるかと思います。例として、1つ目のホテルで検索して表示された１つをリンクに入れておきます。

後半部分は、マウスをかざすと、クリックできると思いますがいかがでしょうか？
とこかの、ホームページに集められたホテルのリンクのように思われます。
簡潔に宣伝が書かれているだけです。意味が重要かどうかというと、リンク先をクリックして、写真などを見てください。あと、料金ですね。そのほかの判らないことは、友人の方に尋ねてください。（メールにはそう記述があります）
そうすると、良い場所かどうか、教えてくれるはずです。
質問者さんが、リンク先に書いてあることが判らないかもしれないことをお友達はご存知の様子です。

リンクでなかったら、ごめんなさい。
＃なお、今のページを翻訳するのは、中身の誇大広告もあるとおもうのであまり意味は無いと思います。
