伝統文化についての英訳をお願いします。

質問

簪(かんざし)は着物を着た女性の髪に飾る装飾品です。

主に芸者や花嫁など、晴れの日に着飾るときに使います。

簪の装飾は、花や鶴などの日本の縁起物が彫られています。

素材はべっ甲です。

昔の職人さんの手作りですので、髪に飾らなくても、
花瓶に入れたり壁にかけたりと、インテリアにしても
素敵だと思います。

（単数、複数、品物そのものについての説明なのか、一般的な説明なのか、わかった方が訳しやすいです。前にお手伝いさせていた時も同じように感じました）
