訳す際のポイントがありましたら
教えて頂きたいです。

＊このasの用法はなんでしょうか？

2.More often than not,a woman's job outside the home is simply a means of earing a living until she is married or of supplementing the family income after marriage so that she can buy things for the house and the family that would not be possible on her husband's salary alone.
＊この文の主節はどれでしょうか？
＊untilの接続詞は副詞節ですがisを修飾しているのでしょうか？

3.Since a large proportion of women in American now attend a college or university,another reason for them to work might be because they want to satisfy interests they have developed as a result of their study,or because there is a need in the community in which they live for their services in the area in which they are trained.

Though women's role in business and community life is important in America, となります。
また以下は、旺文社　基礎英語長文問題精講　からの引用です、
as の前に形容詞などが出たこの倒置形式は、ふつう「譲歩」を表し though で言い換えられるが、文脈により「理由」を表すこともある。
Happy as she was, I didn't want to break the news to her then.
彼女はとても幸せそうだったので、その（悲しい）知らせをその時彼女に伝える気にはなれなかった。

一生懸命やってみたが彼にはその塀を飛び越えることは出来なかった。
（語法）as の位置に注意。as の前に来るのは普通形容詞、副詞または動詞の原形。

4.regard A as B 「AをBとみなす」asの品詞は前置詞です。

A No. 1　の書き込みをしたものです。訳と解説に二日かかってしまいました。わたしが２番あたりからもちいた英文を縦に大きなSVOCなどに分けて表記して考えると構造がつかみやすいですよ。

as women's role in business (仕事で女性の役割として　＝は前置詞）
as community life is in America (アメリカの地域社会生活で存在するために　＝は接続詞）
１つのasで前置詞と接続詞の両方を使っていることになるかな、またはandで結んでいるために名詞句に掛かる前置詞としても良いはずです。

（１）アメリカでは、ビジネスや社会生活における女性の役割は重要であるが、たいていの女性は自分をまず第一に家庭の主婦とみなしている。（２）しばしば家庭外の女性の仕事は、結婚するまでの生活費を稼ぐ手段でしかないか、あるいは、結婚した後で夫の給料だけでは買えないものを家や家族のために買えるように家計を補う手段でしかない時もある。（３）いまアメリカの女性の大部分は大学へ進むので、女性たちが働くもう一つの理由は、学問をして身に付けた興味を満足させたいと思うからでもあるかもしれないし、あるいは、大学で訓練を受けた分野での彼女たちの奉仕が自分たちが住む地域社会で求められているからということであるかもしれない。（４）しかし、仕事は持っていても、たいていの既婚女性は、自分の家庭や家族を自分にとって一番大事な関心事とみなしている。
