以下は、最近、異常発生で問題になっているウイルスソフト、
ランサムウェア
に関するマイクロソフトの英文です。

ここでの意味は、
このウイルス前兆の重大さを考慮してできうる限り早く、ウィンドウズシステムをアップデートしてください。
と考えていますが、
正式な英文は、
「For」given the severity of this threat,update your Windows systems as soon as posible.
●Q01. のように「For」が、省略されているのでしょうか?
●Q02. 正式な省略しない英文に直すとどうなるのでしょうか?
●Q03. あるいは、given が、the severityにかかかっていて、前半は、名詞だけの表現なのでしょうか?
どういう英文上の使い方なのかよく分かりません。
たとえ、ひとつだけでも、お知りのことが有りましたら、ご教授方よろしくお願いします。

１．何故、どれも、間投詞でなく、副詞なのですか。
２．保阪良子氏は、「ja は肯定的な気持ちを表す Partikel である。」と言われますが（ＮＨＫラジオ・ドイツ語講座）、Es regnet ja! （何だ、雨が降っているじゃないか！）の ja は否定的な気持ちを表すのではないでしょうか。
３．何故、 - "How is your health?" - "No, I'm fine now." （「体調はどうですか。」 「ええ、元気です。」）
（『ジーニアス英和大辞典』） などという、インフォーマルな南アフリカ英語が有り得るのですか。つまり、この no は、どんな意味なのでこの様な表現が有るのですか。
ある市販の書籍を見ていたら、

という文があったのですが、文法的な解釈をどうしたらいいのかわかりません。
主語は「time period」、動詞は「seems」とすると、「to capture the imagination
with such bold and romantic images as does the Middle Ages」の部分は
どう説明すれば（解釈すれば）いいのでしょうか？
「全体で前置詞句」でいいのでしょうか？
それとも「to capture the imagination」が目的語の役割をする前置詞句で、
「with such bold and romantic images」が「the imagination」を修飾する形容詞句、
「 as does the Middle Ages」は・・・、「to capture」を修飾する副詞句？？？
という感じでしょうか？
もう１点。最後のほうに出てくる「does」は何故入っているのでしょうか？
「中世ほど奔放でロマンチックな想像を掻き立てる時代は（無い）」という意味なら
doesはいらないような気がするのですが？
ある問題集で、

の答えが、whomになっているのですが、この場合、なぜwhoではダメなのでしょうか。

私が、

という英文を書いたところ、ネイティブの方に、satisfy をsatisfiesと添削され、以下のように説明されました。私は、"customers"は当然複数であり、したがって動詞も原型の"satisfy"とすべきと思ったのですが、"customers"はhe/she/itと同様の単数扱いなのでしょうか。どうかご教示お願いいたします。

You will want to use satisfies for this. It is a little bit tricky, but for present tense of the word "satisfy" you will want to use satisfies when talking about a someone using a pronoun, name, or generic classification. Below I have a list of when to use satisfy, or satisfies. Pretty much every situation uses satisfy, except he/she/it. Customers, John, David, etc also will be treated like he/she/it.
If you were saying the sentence with yourself as the subject you would say. "However, when I satisfy a prescribed condition..." so you would use satisfy.
This can be used with other words that end with "fy". Like justify. I justify, you justify, he/she/it justifies.

unitの意味について
unitには一人という単位と編成された一つの単位の意味があるようですがその見分け方が解りません。
例えばスーダンから青森への自衛隊帰還についてのニュースで
They make up the 2nd group out of 4 in the 350-strong unit to return home.
上の文章では青森に350もの編隊（連隊？）があるとは思えないので350人と数えるしかないということなのでしょうか？
（自衛隊で１個の固まりを何と呼ぶのかは解らないので編隊とさせて頂きました）

Toeicの模試で"He was not --- to admit his mistakes"の穴埋め問題に対し、正解が"man enough"と示されました。似たようなタイトルの歌もあるので正しいと思いますが、なぜ"a man enough"とならないのかが分かりません。
どなたか英語が得意な方にご教授頂けると助かります。
