HDMIでPCとTVを接続（グラフィックボードが認識できてない？？）

質問

HDMIでPCとTVを接続するために購入しました。(ゲーム用ではありません)
PCを起動して最初の画面に下記の文字が映ります。

Attention Unsupported Video Configuration Detected.
Action is required
this Compter has an add-in graphics card , but the moniter cable is plugged
into the integrated video connector.
To attach the mointor cable to the add-in graphics card

1 Shut down the Computer
2 Plug the monitor cable into the add-in graphics card connector.
This may require a video adapter or video adapter cable.
(Provided with the system)
3 Turn on the Computer
This massage should not appear after completing these steps.

小生の環境
PC:DELL inspiron 530s
OS:Vista Home Edition
CPU:Core2duo
メモリ：2G
TV：東芝REGZA42Z8000
追加グラフィックボード：GT9400　GV-94--N94T-512I
現在の接続状況
TV－--PC－--モニタ
　↑　　　↑　
　HDMI　　D-SUB

F1を押すとそのままPCの画面は映りますが
TVは映りません。コンパネより、画面の設定を確認しましたが、
TV（HDMIポート）は認識していないようで、
選択できるモニタは1つだけです。

電源出力・相性も購入先の方も「大丈夫」との太鼓判を押していただいていたのですが、
不安になってきました。
日中は仕事のため、外出先からサポートデスクにtelしても、
手元に自分のPCがない為、
手ごたえを感じられません。
どなたか、アドバイスの程よろしくお願いいたします。

たぶんD-Subをオンボードの方から取ってる。

前々から思ってるんですがDELLのBIOSメッセージって親切ですよねぇ。
普通は何も言わずにただ無効にするんですが。

どういう状況かはPC が英語で通知しています。今は翻訳サイトも充実してきているので、読めなくても自分で訳す努力をしなさい。
　ケーブルの接続に問題があるという内容です。接続状況の確認と、ケーブルの不良の確認をするべきでしょう。
